The New York Times wants to know how people are consuming this relatively new kind of content.
What even is a podcast these days? For years an audio-only, radio-on-demand experience, podcasts — and especially popular shows like ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ and ‘Call Her Daddy’ — now often come with slickly produced videos.
Sometimes these videos are hours long, leading us to wonder, who is watching all these podcasts? According to YouTube, it’s more than a billion people a day.
We know there are a million ways to consume media these days: on different devices, while doing different things, at different times of the day.
So: How do you watch podcasts? Not at all? A little bit at a time? The whole thing in one sitting? From your couch with a bucket of popcorn? Or in a minimized tab while you work? If you’re interested, please fill out the form below.
We’ll read every response and may follow up to hear more. We won’t publish any part of your response without contacting you first, and we won’t share your contact information outside the Times newsroom or use it for any reason other than to get in touch.
