(Slide Show) On July 1, the Serpentine Gallery in London’s Kensington Gardens will unveil the latest temporary pavilion to grace its grounds—this one by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor. And later this summer, Taschen will release the book Serpentine Pavilions: 2000–2011, a comprehensive look at the beloved annually erected public spaces, which have included commissions by Zaha Hadid, Rem Koolhaas, and Jean Nouvel, among others.
