Two magical timepieces.
One is the incredible Hermle Tellurium and the other (which we do not sell) is the amazing Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight Planetarium Watch. The Hermle Tellurium clock reproduces the annual orbit of the earth around the sun, with the earth rotating around its own axis once in twenty four hours. The moon, in turn, revolves around the earth in 29.5 days completing a full rotation around its axis. This allows the reproduction of the different moon phases as they are visible from earth. In the course of one year, the earth passes all twelve zodiac signs, months and individual days which are indicated on the flat disc.
The Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight Planétarium watch (which generally retails for over $200,000 for the model pictured), depicting the universe, captures the paths of planets. The performance is on full display while the shooting star indicates the time. A lucky star invites the wearer to record their lucky day on the starry dial. The dial reproduces the Sun in miniature, together with the five planets visible to the naked eye from Earth: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Thanks to an exclusive module, each planet moves on its own disc according to its real-life rotation time.
