On this week’s podcast, Peter Sarsgaard reads “How 30 Blocks Became 30 Years,” an essay about the challenges and advantages of romantic relationships between those with disabilities and those without.
Ben Mattlin, the author of the essay, was born with spinal muscular atrophy, an incurable neuromuscular condition that has caused him to be quadriplegic. He is the author of “In Sickness and In Health: Love, Disability, and a Quest to Understand the Perils and Pleasures of Interabled Romance.”
Mr. Sarsgaard stars in the new movie “The Sounds of Silence.” Stay tuned after the reading to hear more from him, Mr. Mattlin and the Modern Love editor Daniel Jones.
